Syntheri Rock, is a spectacular site located in deep jungles of Dandeli. Here you will see about 300 feet tall monolithic granite wall made by nature on one side of Kaneri river. One has to climb down more than 200 steps to go near water which is a really a breathtaking experience. Thousands of pigeons have made this rock their home in the holes of rock. Also you will see thousands of rock bees hives on the great rock wall. There is a small waterfall that gushes into a deep gorge which gives spectacular view from the top. Different types of rocks found here are displayed by Geological department of India.
Sathoddi Falls in Karnataka is about 32 km form Yellapur and around two and half hours drive from Chalet. There are many streams that join together in the Kallaramane Ghat and cascade into a 15 m picturesque Sathoddi falls. It further joins the backwaters of Kodasalli dam that is built over the Kali River.It is best to visit the falls in winter, from early November to the end of march.
Dudhsagar falls(literally Sea of Milk ), is a tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi river in the Indian state of Goa on Goa’s border with Karnataka state. Dudhsagar is one of the world’s most exquisite falls. Dudhsagar Falls is listed as India’s fifth tallest waterfall and is 227th in the world at 310 m.The Waterfall can be reached both by road and rail. It can be reached by road from Dandeli to Castlerock and then by train or trek.

Kulgi Nature Camp is located at a distance of 8 km from Chalet. This camp has small museum called nature interpretation centre. This museum has a good collection of insects and moths. It also provides information about wildlife of Dandeli's jungles. You also get a chance to pet some wild animals here.
North Karnataka’s most famous pilgrimage place Shri Ulavi Channabasaveshwara Temple is situated in the heart of the tiger reserve and attracts lakhs of tourists and devotees every year.The temple's annual fair is held every February.
The ancient Kavala caves is a natural cave, also called Sidda. To reach the caves you will have to climb down 375 steps. At some point you will have to crawl through the narrow and winding tunnels. Caves are known to be formed by volcanic activities with stalagmite formations. Inside the cave you will see a big, naturally created Shiva Linga. There is an udder shaped stone formed over the Linga from which water trickles all the time. It is believed the tunnels stretches underground for miles. Every year thousands of people come to worship the Shiva Linga during Shivaratri. Outside the cave one can view the splendid beauty of Kali river flowing through the valley.
Magod Falls is situated close to the Magod Village and is around 19 km from Yellapur and around two hours drive from Chalet. This waterfall of the Bedthi river falls from a height of 650 ft, into a narrow valley of rocks. It is situated close to the famous sunset point in the region, the Jenukallugudda.
On the way to the Magod waterfalls, you will find a pleasant lake called “Kavade Kere” which is spread over an area of 60 acres.There is the an ancient temple of goddess Durgadevi on bank of this lake. The quietness and the beauty surrounding the lake will be an unforgettable experience.
Gavala devi temple, is in a beautiful location on high elevated grounds. A very interesting fact about the place is that there is a temple pond with sweet water spring on such a high altitude, which will not dry up even in the summer. More than ten thousand people visit this temple during annual fair.
Kushavali, is the birthplace of river Kali. One day trip to Kushavali is worth your energy and time.Enjoy the ride in the deep forest, with high chance of spotting Bison on the way. Also you can swim in natural pools and picnic on the banks of water streams.

Tibetan Monastery, Mundgod, also known as Gaden Jangtse Monastery was established in 1966. This monastery is around 80 kms from Dandeli. One can for sure experience a little Tibet here.
Two small rivers joined together and formed this waterfall, which is why it is called Dhon(two) Holeyar(rivers) falls.To reach this waterfall you have to drive through beautiful nature ,on the way you may spot Bisons, Deers, Fox ,Peacocks and many birds. You have to park your vehicle near the river and walk 0.5 km to reach the falls after crossing the the river .Here you can play and bathe in the waterfall.Rocks are slippery, so you have to be careful while taking every step.
